Mei Nagano returns to screen: Filming begins on Netflix's new film

Mei Nagano is involved in a film project produced by Netflix and started filming this year, marking her return after a temporary hiatus due to news of her relationships with Kei Tanaka and Kentaro Sakaguchi.

The film is directed by Keiichi Kobayashi, a talented director with many years of experience in television, commercials, and music videos. He has also directed many films, most recently "Ojo to Banken-kun" (2025), starring Riko Fukumoto and Jesse.
Netflix's project began before the news broke about Nagano and Tanaka. Even after reports surfaced in September that Nagano and Sakaguchi were involved in a love triangle, Netflix decided to continue with her role. Filming is expected to be completed within two months.
